Leonard Nimoy's Final Words Of Wisdom To Us All: Please Stop Smoking

"I quit smoking 30 yrs ago. Not soon enough."

Actor Leonard Nimoy, best-known as the iconic Mr. Spock of "Star Trek," died Friday at the age of 83.

Nimoy's wife, Susan Bay Nimoy, said his cause of death was end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Nimoy himself thought the disease was brought on by his smoking habit, which he had quit roughly 30 years ago.
