The Best Princess Dresses To Ever Appear On The Red Carpet

Hollywood actresses sure know how to make fairytale dreams come true!

On Monday night, Lily James was just one of the latest stars to grace the red carpet in a gown fit for a real-life princess. Of course, it was quite fitting, seeing as she's playing Cinderella in the upcoming live-action remake of the classic tale.

The blond beauty arrived for the premiere wearing one of the most lovely Elie Saab gowns ever. The light aqua blue dress featured illusion mesh covered in silk embroidery and sequins, giving the look an overall sparkly effect. She accessorized with diamond earrings and a pair of custom made "glass slippers" by Christian Louboutin.

The stunning look made us think of all the other gorgeous gowns we've fallen in love with over the years, many of which were also designed by Elie Saab. Of course, there's also plenty of stunning Oscar de la Renta gowns in the mix, and even a few Zac Posens, among others.

Just take a look below to see some of the most beautiful princess dresses to ever grace the red carpet, and get lost in a fairytale day dream.
