Kaitlyn Bristowe The Next Bachelorette: Vancouver Dance Teacher Looking For Love Next Season

The Next Bachelorette Is A Canuck

Not only will next season of "The Bachelorette" feature two (that's right, not one, but two) bachelorettes for the first time in the franchise's history, but one of the two bachelorettes -- Kaitlyn Bristowe -- is a good ol' Canadian gal from Vancouver, B.C.

Joining her is one of the most polarizing "Bachelor" contestants in recent memory, Britt Nilsson. Together, these two will be a force majeure when Season 11 rolls around in later 2015.

On last night's "Bachelor" finale, ABC announced that they're switching up the rules; Nilsson and Bristowe will both try to find love with the same 25 men.

The two women were introduced (again) on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Kimmel had guested in an episode of "The Bachelor," and made an appearance with a live cow at the finale. (Don't ask.)

"I think what went through my mind [was], 'Well, that's not ideal.' But if that's what it takes to find someone..." Bristowe said of being one of two bachelorettes. According to Us Magazine, the ultimate "Bachelorette" will be chosen by the men, and the other will head home.

The 29-year-old dance instructor Bristowe was a fan favourite during Chris Soules' season.

Bristowe is the second Canadian bachelorette; Jillian Harris, of Peace River, Alberta, was the first. Bristowe also has Albertan connections -- she was raised in Leduc.
