EAT! Vancouver food fest expands to week for 13th edition running April 26-May 3

The EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival will be extended to a week when it returns for its 13th year.

The expansion means the festival, running April 26 through May 3, can encompass 35 events showcasing Vancouver's culinary culture.

There will be a collaborative dinner series that sees 15 guest chefs paired with staff at Vancouver's hottest kitchens; 17 hands-on workshops at restaurants, chef's private homes and artisan kitchens across the city; and a symposium in which participants discuss the issues of sustainability and ethical meats.

And a three-day tasting show at BC Place Stadium will feature more than 250 exhibitors and celebrity chefs from across Canada, including Ned Bell, Rob Feenie, Susur Lee, Mark McEwan, Anna Olson and Vikram Vij.
