SAN DIEGO - A San Diego television sportscaster is returning to his anchor job a month after he was shot six times outside his home in what prosecutors say was a dispute with a house painter.
KFMB-TV anchor Kyle Kraska announced that he will be helming the 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. sportscasts Wednesday on twitter, saying: "Do you believe in miracles?"
Kraska underwent multiple surgeries after suffering injuries to the stomach, chest and limbs.
Executive Producer Barbara Richards says Kraska will initially host two sportscasts instead of his regular nightly three.
He has been the evening sports anchor on the CBS affiliate since 2003.
Mike Montana has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder in the Feb. 10 shooting. Police say the two had a dispute over work done on Kraska's home.
