Kate Middleton Meets The Cast Of 'Downton Abbey,' We Can Live Happily Ever After Now

Kate Middleton Meets The Cast Of 'Downton Abbey'

Move over Lady Mary, there's a Duchess at Downton!

On Thursday, the Duchess of Cambridge visited the set of "Downton Abbey" and we nearly keeled over from excitement.

For the special occasion, Kate Middleton sported a chic white coat by Jojo Maman Bebe, which cost £69 (about $103 US), and accessorized with her favourite black pumps, a matching clutch and her iconic wavy locks.

When she arrived, the 33-year-old mum was greeted by "Downton" creator Lord Julian Fellowes, and proceeded to tour the makeup and costume trailers, where she met actress Phyllis Logan a.k.a. Mrs Hughes and Robert James Collier, who plays the under butler Thomas. Collier joked to the Duchess: "You've come just at the right time, Phyllis is about to have her Botox put in."

Kate, who's eight months pregnant, also toured the construction workshops and prop stores and met with the seamstresses, designers and cuters who create the fabulous costumes.

Prince George's mum went on set and met Michelle Dockery (Lady Mary), Joanne Froggatt (Anna Bates) and the rest of the "Downton Abbey" cast.

Look at how excited Jim Carter is:

The royal also got her own custom headphones as she watched the cast and crew film a scene through a video monitor.

After being presented with a special "Downton Abbey" cake (can we get the recipe for that?), Duchess Catherine attended a reception and met more cast members before unveiling a plaque to commemorate the visit.
