Jordan Hall nets hat trick as Knighthawks get past Roughnecks 13-7

CALGARY - Jordan Hall had a hat trick as the Rochester Knighthawks beat the Calgary Roughnecks 13-7 on Saturday night in National Lacrosse League action.

Joe Walters, Craig Point and Aaron Wilson each scored twice for Rochester (7-3). Paul Dawson, Brad Self, Ian Llord and Sid Smith supplied the rest of the offence.

Shawn Evans had a hat trick of his own for the Roughnecks (2-8). Karsen Leung and Daryl Veltman each struck twice to round out the attack.

Matt Vinc got the win in goal, turning aside 41 shots. Mike Poulin started for Calgary and kicked out 20-of-30 shots in 46:34. Frankie Scigliano made eight saves in relief.

The Knighthawks were scoreless on two power-play chances. The Roughnecks converted once on three tries with the man advantage.
