Nearly 40 kg of pot found inside Brampton home

A large amount of marijuana and cocaine were seized during the search of a home in Brampton, Ont., police say.

Peel Regional Police say that an investigation led to the search of a home on Buick Boulevard on March 9.

Inside the home, police say they found:

- Nearly 40 kilograms of marijuana.

- 7.5 kilograms of cocaine.

- 1.3 kilograms of methamphetamine.

- 1,463 Oxycodone pills.

Police say they also seized "a large quantity of Canadian currency" during the search.

Two people have been arrested and charged with multiple drug-related counts. A warrant of arrest has been issued for a third person.

The allegations and charges have not been proven in court.
