Vancouver Eclipse Blind Hockey team faces off with Canucks alum

Wednesday night's game was a special one for members of Vancouver's Eclipse Blind Hockey team as they got to hit the ice with Vancouver Canucks alumni.

Blind hockey is played by athletes who are legally blind with approximately 10 per cent vision or less, using an adapted puck that makes noise and is bigger and slower than a traditional puck.

The sport uses some slightly modified rules, but otherwise, it is immediately recognizable as Canada’s favourite winter past time.
