Dobbie nets six, Evans adds five in Roughnecks rout of Black Wolves

CALGARY - Dane Dobbie scored six times and Shawn Evans had an 11-point night with five goals and six assists as the Calgary Roughnecks routed the New England Black Wolves 20-9 on Friday night in National Lacrosse League action.

Curtis Dickson added four goals for the Roughnecks (3-8). Jeff Shattler chipped in with a hat trick white Sean Pollock scored a pair. Frankie Scigliano turned away 46 shots for the win.

Pat Saunders led New England (3-6) with three goals. Kevin Buchanan and Kyle Buchanan each had a pair while Joel White and Jamie Lincoln rounded out the attack. Evan Kirk suffered the loss after kicking out 19-of-32 shots in 34:25. Tye Belanger played 25:35 and stopped 18 shots.

Calgary converted on both of their power-play chances while the Black Wolves went 1 for 5 on the man advantage.
