Man stabbed near Bloor and Bathurst

A man in his mid-20s was taken to hospital early Sunday morning, after suffering multiple stab wounds near Bloor St. W and Bathurst Street.

Paramedics were called to the scene at 2:51 a.m. and found the man had stab wounds to his upper chest. He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital in non life-threatening condition.

Police had Markham Street, which is one block west of Bathurst, closed for an investigation. It was reopened around 4 a.m., according to a tweet from Toronto Police.
