Eastern Quebec slammed with snow storm

It may officially be spring, but much of eastern Quebec is getting walloped by yet another snow storm.

High winds and blowing snow are making visibility difficult on roads in several areas, including Saguenay and the Gaspé.

Stretches of Highway 132 and Highway 199 were closed Monday morning. A full list of road closures and warnings can be found on Transport Quebec's website.

Quebec provincial police reported several accidents on Sunday, including a 10-vehicle pile-up in St-Siméon, but no major injuries were reported.

Environment Canada issued weather warnings on Monday for the following areas:

- Amqui - Matapédia Valley

- Anticosti

- Blanc-Sablon

- Chevery

- Gaspésie National Park - Murdochville

- Îles-de-la-Madeleine
