'Blood' Oozing From Vancouver Bus Ceiling, Horrifies Riders (VIDEO)

"Bus might need an exorcism."

Nothing like a scene out of a horror movie to go with your daily bus ride, amirite?

A YouTube video (watch above) shows what looks like blood spurting from the ceiling of a Vancouver bus.

The red liquid gushed from several spots on the 99 B-Line bus to the University of British Columbia, creating a sizable puddle on the floor.

"What is that? It stinks," a passenger is heard saying on the video, which was uploaded on Tuesday. Others shouted for the driver to pull over and let them off.

"The walls resemble a scene out of 'The Shining.' Bus might need an exorcism," read the YouTube caption.

The "blood" turned out to be hydraulic fluid, TransLink spokesman Chris Bryan explained in an email to The Huffington Post B.C.

Bryan said no one was hurt, and the operation of the bus, which has mechanical steering with power assist, was not affected.

The bus was back on the road after a two-hour repair, he said, while the cause of the fluid leak is still being investigated.
