2 Surrey men shot in targeted attack

Two men have been shot, in what Surrey RCMP are calling a targeted incident.

Police received several calls reporting gunshots near 88 Avenue and 124 Street in Surrey, B.C., just before 9 p.m. PT, Thursday.

Shortly after that, police received calls about two vehicles driving erratically in the area. According to Surrey RCMP, one vehicle was described as a white Ford Escape and the other vehicle was described as a dark coloured SUV.

Police said the Ford Escape showed up at the hospital, and two men, in their mid-twenties, sought treatment for their non-life-threatening injuries.

Surrey RCMP said the two men are known to police, and neither has been forthcoming with information.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or to call Crime Stoppers.
