The findings of a new report reveal some interesting trends when it comes to how the world cooks, with a breakdown of which countries cook the most, the least, and the countries that are most passionate about food.

The results are based on a poll that surveyed 27,000 people across 22 markets. The survey also asked respondents how knowledgeable, experienced and passionate they are about the act of cooking.

Here’s a country comparison by market research group GfK. Unsurprisingly, countries like India, which are known for slow cooking methods are at the top, but in an interesting twist, countries like France, which has a cuisine known for its intricacies, is at the low end:
