The accident happened on 200th Street near 68th Avenue around 2 a.m.
The passenger was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the driver wasn't hurt in the crash, according to police.
The sports car was travelling northbound on 200th Street when it hit the median, crossed the two southbound lanes, smashed into a tree and then came to a stop upside-down in the southbound lane.
Police said alcohol was not believed to be a factor.
