Nick Lush Death: Human Remains Identified As Missing Man

Two men have been charged with first-degree murder.

CALGARY - RCMP say a body found southwest of Calgary is that of a man reported missing last month.

Nicholas Lush, who was 32, was last seen leaving a house party in Calgary on March 29.

Police say a witness saw two men beating a third man outside of a vehicle that was parked on Highway 1 near Cochrane, Alta.

Two men were later arrested in Cranbrook, B.C.

Cody Bauer, who is 24, of Calgary and 22-year-old Kristopher Goerzen of Brooks, Alta., have been charged with first-degree murder.

On Monday, Mounties conducted searches in the Longview area where the K-9 unit found human remains.

They say the medical examiner determined Wednesday afternoon that the remains are that of Lush.
