Police say human remains identified as those of missing Calgary man

CALGARY - RCMP say a body found southwest of Calgary is that of a man reported missing last month.Nicholas Lush, who was 32, was last seen leaving a house party in Calgary on March 29.Police say a witness saw two men beating a third man outside of a vehicle that was parked on Highway 1 near Cochrane, Alta.Two men were later arrested in Cranbrook, B.C.Cody Bauer, who is 24, of Calgary and 22-year-old Kristopher Goerzen of Brooks, Alta., have been charged with first-degree murder.On Monday, Mounties conducted searches in the Longview area where the K-9 unit found human remains.They say the medical examiner determined Wednesday afternoon that the remains are that of Lush.(CFFR)
