Google and AOL Canada have held on to the two top spots in an annual ranking of Canada's 100 best workplaces released on Thursday.
The research firm Great Place to Work revealed their Canadian list, part of the world's largest annual workplace study. Google was ranked in first place for the best large or multinational company, followed by AOL Canada in the second spot and Autodesk Canada in third. AOL Canada is the parent company of The Huffington Post Canada.
Tech companies continued to dominate the top rankings in the large category, and financial institutions like TD Bank, Scotiabank and RBC moving up several spots on the list over last year.
Great Place to Work also compiled a list of the best workplaces for women, with health food producer Vega taking the top spot. AOL Canada, TD Bank and health care company Tri Fit Inc. were also recognized on the list.
