Makeup looks and beauty standards have greatly changed and evolved throughout history, from unibrows in Ancient Greece to powdered pale skin with black beauty spots pre-French Revolution.

And while some of these historical makeup looks seem drastically different than our current makeup trends (like the shaved eyebrows and foreheads a la Elizabethan Era), some are much more familiar than we would have expected.
