Michael Buble Criticized For 'Body Shaming' Stranger On Instagram

Canadian singer Michael Buble is being slammed online for 'body shaming' a stranger on Instagram.

Buble uploaded a photo of himself standing in front of a woman wearing short shorts on Monday, captioning it, "There was something about this photo lu took, that seemed worthy of instagram." The caption is accompanied by hashtags such as #babygotback and #hungryshorts.

The photo, which was taken by the singer's wife Luisana Lopilato, has caused quite a stir online.

While many of Buble's Instagram followers laughed along with the singer, others weren't impressed with his joke. Users left comments such as "Sad. Delete. Delete. Delete." and "I hate this so much it's disgusting."

Other follower wrote "Body shaming - gone down in my estimation MB."

Several other people defended the singer from Burnaby, B.C. Instagrammer s8ingcoach78 wrote "People need to chill about him making fun...any normal person wouldn't go out in public with shorts like that and not expect for people to clown. It's deserving."

What do you think? Did the singer cross a line in his post? Tell us in the comments below.
