For anyone who has dealt with those hard brown stains around their toilet rim — even if you don't want to admit it — we have one easy trick that will leave your toilet shiny for your next house party.

In the video above, YouTuber Trend Feed shows us what happens when you add one gallon (or 3.8 litres for all the Canadians in the house) of white vinegar to your stained toilet. By using paper towel soaked in vinegar to outline your toilet rim, and adding vinegar into your bowl, you too can have a squeaky clean toilet.

And on top of removing stains, according to Apartment Therapy, you should be cleaning your toilet at least once a week — for the obvious reasons.

Oh, and remember to wear gloves!
