Modi, Harper sit down with business leaders in Toronto; extol relations

TORONTO - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined his Canadian counterpart at a business roundtable in Toronto today.Modi extolled the virtues of India as a great trade partner for Canada.Prime Minister Stephen Harper stressed the importance of the relationship, saying there's much still to be done.Modi is scheduled to make a stop at a waterfront memorial to the victims of the 1985 Air India bombing before heading to Vancouver.The Indian prime minister has received an enthusiastic welcome from Harper and thousands of Canadians, most of Indian descent.He gave an hour-long speech to thousands of people at an arena on Wednesday night who regularly chanted "Modi! Modi!"
