Weise scores in OT to lift Canadiens over Senators 2-1, lead series 3-0

OTTAWA - Dale Weise scored twice — including in overtime — as the Montreal Canadiens beat the Ottawa Senators 2-1 to take a 3-0 lead in their first-round series.Weise also scored for the Canadiens with 5:47 remaining in the third period to force extra time.Clarke MacArthur opened the scoring for the Senators at 11:28 of the first period.Montreal dominated at times in the second and third periods, outshooting Ottawa 31-15 through the final 40 minutes of regulation.Montreal's Carey Price stopped 33 shots. Ottawa's Craig Anderson, making his first start of the playoffs, made 47 saves.The Canadiens went 0 for 6 on the power play. The Senators failed to score on two chances with the man advantage.Game 4 goes Wednesday in Ottawa.
