Boy Dead After Fall From West-End Toronto Apartment

TORONTO - Toronto Police say a three-year-old boy has died from injuries he suffered after falling from a 17th-floor apartment in the city's west-end.

Paramedics responded to a call Sunday afternoon.

Emergency crews took the boy to a local hospital with criticial injuries.

Paramedics say the preschooler was in "grave condition" upon being transported from the scene.

Police say the boy died of his injuries upon arrival at the hospital.

They say an investigation into the boy's death is underway.
