Your Bad Sleeping Habits Are Screwing With Your Brain

There's probably a good reason why you can't remember the last time you got a good night's rest.

According to the video above by Eye Opener TV, researchers for the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative say memory loss is directly related to sleep disorders. For example, if you are a heavy snorer or have sleep apnea, you could be at risk of Alzheimer's at a younger age.

A previous report from Harvard University also found that sleeping too little could cause memory loss, but sleeping too much could be just as harmful. Researchers say for the best result, try aiming for the "right amount" of sleep which is equivalent to seven hours of snooze time a day.

Of course, there are ways to ensure better sleep which include setting yourself a sleep schedule, not going to bed hungry (or after a sugary or caffeinated meal), and putting away your electronics or turning off the TV before bed. You should always talk to your doctor if you are suffering from any of the disorders mentioned above.
