It's the second CEGEP in a week to join the "occupy everything" movement. Last week, students set up about 40 tents in front of the CEGEP de Saint-Laurent.
On Tuesday morning, a smaller group of students set up about 10 tents near the corner of Ontario Street and Hôtel-de-Ville Avenue.
Demonstrators are trying to raise awareness for a wide range of causes.
They strung up several banners, which railed against the pillaging of the environment, the theft of native land, the energy summit and capitalism.
One banner read: "They can take our freedom but they will never take our mini-putt."
Students refused to be interviewed, because of a general mistrust of journalists.
