Amy Schumer's 'Girl,You Don't Need Makeup' Hilariously Tackles Beauty Standards

"You don't need no lipstick, you don't need no blush, 'cuz you've got that inner natural glow."

Amy Schumer just keeps on #winning.

In a recent segment on her show "Inside Amy Schumer," the comedian tackled the whole "natural beauty" thing with a perfectly hilarious music video called, "Girl, You Don't Need Makeup."

The video is presented as a One Direction-esque parody, with Schumer playing the role of the beautiful video girl who gets serenaded by a cookie-cutter boy band. The sketch begins with the boys praising Schumer's natural beauty, urging her "wash that loving face off in the sink." But of course, once the makeup comes off, the guys change their tune.

Schumer's segment provides a wonderful social commentary on today's growing infatuation with natural beauty -- women are often told to embrace their natural beauty, that is, as long as their natural beauty fits the stereotypical mould. There's also the "no makeup" makeup look, which is meant to enhance natural beauty. But really, it's more makeup than it looks.

The video also sparked a "minor revolution" on Twitter, with users sharing images of themselves sans makeup, along with the hashtag #girlyoudontneedmakeup. The comedian, who expressed her gratitude to all the beautiful women sharing their photos, has even been retweeting them to all her followers.

So much lady love! It's awesome!
