EDMONTON - Six people are facing more than a dozen charges after a police investigation into an alleged Edmonton-based drug trafficking ring with links to Kelowna, B.C.

Police say five of the suspects are from Edmonton, who were taken into custody when raids were carried out at two homes in the city last Thursday.

The sixth person who was arrested is a man from Kelowna.

The raids coincided with a drug shipment bound for Edmonton.

Officers seized cocaine, marijuana, fentanyl and other drugs, along with three vehicles and thousands of dollars in cash.
