Alberta Judge Orders Pit Bulls Destroyed After Attack

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE, Alta. - A judge has ordered that three pit bulls responsible for attacks last month that injured two other dogs in Rocky Mountain House, Alta., be destroyed.

Brandi Reeves, who owns the dogs, pleaded guilty to eight charges that include owning a dog which attacked another animal causing severe injury.

Reeves was fined $2,800.

She was also ordered to compensate the owners of the injured dogs for veterinarian bills, which totalled just over $1,800.
