North West is about to become a big sister! Kim Kardashian announced that she’s pregnant with her second child on the mid-season finale of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” on Sunday night.
“I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!” the 34-year-old reality star told her sister Khloe in the clip.
Kim and husband Kanye West shared the news with their nearly two-year-old daughter North, before announcing it on the reality show. “Kim and Kanye told North the news together,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “They explained as best as they could that she was going to have a brother or sister.”
The couple welcomed North in June 2013 and since then, they have been eager to have more kids. Last month, Kim told E! News, “We are trying. We try every single day. You can't try harder than we try. It's getting exhausting. [Kanye] always says, ‘Trying for baby No. 2 isn't as fun as trying for baby No. 1.’”
Hollywood Life reports that Kim is expected to give birth to her second child in early December, making North and her sibling two and a half years apart.
