It's the summer of 1975 and swimming at the beach would never be the same again.
That's thanks to Steven Spielberg's "Jaws" which would go on to earn critical acclaim and swim into the nightmares of moviegoers. If you were one of the lucky few who saw the film during its initial release, June 1 marks the film's 40th anniversary. But for Canadians, that special day doesn't come until June 20 — the day the film premiered across the country and in the rest of the United States.
