A Calabasas, Calif. home that once belonged to Caitlyn Jenner came on the market on the very same day that she made her stunning debut on the cover of Vanity Fair.

The property, situated on 0.71 acres, is being pitched as an "ultra private" French manor under 24-hour guard.

There are five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a bonus room that serves as a gym. Its backyard has a number of covered patio areas, a pool, spa and horseshoe pit.

Caitlyn and Kris Jenner owned the property from 2004 to 2006, The Los Angeles Times reported.

They bought it for $1.765 million and later sold it to its current owner for $2.425 million. It was built in 2000.

A Zillow listing for the home estimates monthly mortgage payments at $9,689 with a 20 per cent down payment and a 30-year fixed rate.

One thing is certain: the home will deliver on its promise of "interesting celebrity ownership history."
