Kids grow up so fast! On Tuesday, talk show host Kelly Ripa took to Instagram to share a photo of her 14-year-old daughter Lola and send her a sweet birthday message.
“Here she is… the Kween of 14! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOLA,” the “Live with Kelly and Michael” star wrote.
Lola Grace is Ripa’s only daughter. From the snap, it’s clear the teen takes after her mother as both have identical eyes and gorgeous smiles.
Besides her lookalike daughter, 44-year-old Ripa also has two sons with husband Mark Consuelos. Eldest son Michael is 18 and youngest Joaquin is 12.
Last year, Ripa talked to Redbook Mag about her parenting style. The mom-of-three firmly believes, “I'm not your friend, I'm your mom.”
“I feel like children need boundaries,” the star explained. “They need to know, yes, you can come to me with anything and everything and I’m there for you but I’m not there to encourage you to get involved in social media stuff. I’m not there to encourage you to conduct yourself in a way that’s unbecoming of a child, because I’m your parent, and we have boundaries. If you don’t set limits and boundaries for your kids early on, and that means not giving into every temper tantrum, then later on, once they’re teens it’s too late.”
