Montreal police looking for witness to Côte St-Luc woman's attack

Montreal police are asking for the public's help in finding a man they say is an "important witness" in the attack of a 74-year-old woman.

The woman was attacked in a parking garage on Cavendish Boulevard at around noon on Tuesday. Officers found the woman lying on the ground in the parking lot of a building, situated at 6000 Cavendish Boulevard, near Chemin Louis-Pasteur. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

On Friday, police are setting up a command post in Côte St-Luc, asking anyone with information to go to 6000 Cavendish Boulevard, or to call police at 514-393-1133.

Montreal police spokesman Jean-Pierre Brabant says they've created the composite sketch based on footage and information gathered during the preliminary stages of the investigation.
