VANCOUVER - Coach John Herdman says Canada is ready to take on the Swiss at the Women's World Cup.Canada, ranked eighth in the world, meets No. 19 Switzerland in a do-or-die round-of-16 game Sunday at B.C. Place Stadium.Herdman says the Canadian women are where they want to be — in their home base of Vancouver.And he says the pressure of a knockout game actually clarifies his players' focus.Defending well is not good enough this time because a draw won't do. Canada has to win.This marks only the second time in six World Cups that Canada has advanced out of the group stage. The Canadians finished fourth at the 2003 tournament.
