East-end Toronto shooting leaves 22-year-old man injured

Toronto police are asking the public for information in an attempted murder investigation in the city's east end. 

Police responded to a call of a shooting incident near Pharmacy and Danforth avenues shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday.

When they arrived they found a 22-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

The victim was transported to hospital and treated for his injuries. His condition has not been released.
