COQUITLAM, B.C. - A 39-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly committing property crimes, driving offences and fraud in multiple jurisdictions ranging from West Vancouver to Kelowna.
Coquitlam RCMP say Paul Herbert is a prolific offender who was quickly located after his fingerprints were allegedly found on a stolen vehicle.
Police say that for safety reasons, a helicopter was used to track Herbert after he was spotted driving a stolen car.
Mounties say there were 12 outstanding arrest warrants for Herbert from more than five jurisdictions.
He is facing charges related to stolen property and driving while prohibited.
Herbert has been held in custody pending his court appearance on Tuesday.
