Celina Jaitly Pride: The Star Led Toronto's Parade In Style

Celina Jaitly Was Pride Perfect As International Grand Marshal

We officially love Celina Jaitly. The Indian actress was in Toronto representing global LGBTQ communities for Toronto's Pride parade and she did it in style.

For the festivities, the 33-year-old donned a body hugging black and white Aztec printed dress overlaid with a sheer black material to lead the parade as the international grand marshal.

Of course, the dress featured some vibrant flower detailing to make the look pride-perfect. She paired the dress with a pair of classic red pumps and wore her sleek black hair straight for the occasion.

This wasn't her only epic style moment at Pride, since she also attended the event #BendingitlikeBombay, where she wore a floor-length dress fit for a princess with a full skirt with beaded embellishments.

Jaitly was honoured as international grand marshal due to her work giving voices to sexual minorities in India, reported The Toronto Star. Even with death threats and opposition by her culture, she has continued to vocally oppose laws that make same-sex relationships illegal in India.

"It makes me so happy to be a part of this great celebration of human beings," she told The Toronto Star. "It’s just celebrating mankind in all its glory, in all the colour the human spirit exudes."

Jaitly told The Toronto Star that, although she readily attends Pride in Bombay, this is her first time attending it in Toronto -- although she films here all the time.

We can't wait to have her back!
