The Fast and the Furious turned fast and foolish on a Delta, B.C. roadway, and it was all caught on video.
In April, police busted a motorcyclist on Highway 17 after he was clocked at 213 km/h — 133 kilometres over the speed limit.
Officers noticed the rider was wearing a GoPro camera, which recorded the motorcycle hitting speeds of over 220 km/h, weaving in and out of traffic, and driving in the middle of the road between lanes. (Watch video above.)
That kind of driving "put himself and other road users at considerable risk," Delta police wrote on YouTube.
Officers impounded the bike for a week, and the charged the driver with excessive speeding and driving without due care and attention.
He was also hit with over $1,000 in fines, Delta police acting Sgt. Sarah Swallow told HuffPost B.C.
In 2012, another motorcyclist was caught driving down a B.C. highway at 300 km/h. Randy Scott, 25, was charged with dangerous driving, but was acquitted.
