The company, which has its Canadian headquarters in Longueuil, Que., sent a letter to all of its Quebec suppliers on June 17, 2015. In that letter, the company indicated that all future correspondence will be in French only.
Internal documents, including purchase orders and procurement applications, will be written in French. Documents that are in circulation will not be replaced with French-only forms. Pratt & Whitney is even encouraging its suppliers to correspond in French, orally or written.
The company declined an interview request from CBC/Radio-Canada.
