You hear it often: go to school, get good grades, get a great job. The formula seems simple enough, but as we all know, what might work for one doesn't always work for all.
In the video above by WatchMojo, we discover 10 successful celebrities who never received their high school diplomas. From singers to actors to entrepreneurs and even a princess, these stars prove that school's not for everyone (not that being a princess necessarily requires a diploma).
But just because these celebrities made it doesn't mean everyone can. When actor Mark Wahlberg graduated high school in 2013 (28 years after he dropped out), he admitted he was one of the lucky ones.
Dropout rates have been on a steady decline in Canada since the early 1990s, but Charity Intelligence Canada, a site dedicated to helping donors find charitable organizations to support, says there are still 40,000 high school drop-outs every year.
