The 32-year-old actress, who stars in the upcoming reboot of Marvel's "Fantastic Four," is wearing a summery, floor-sweeping tulle gown by Valentino with long sheer sleeves. The dress is covered in garden-inspired embroidery, including a radiant sun, butterflies and plenty of flowers.
The actress's chin-length bob is slightly tousled and swept to the side covering one eye. Her makeup is soft with pink lips, smokey brown eye shadow and full brows.
Though the "House of Cards" actress is a natural on camera and red carpets, the cover star opened up to Flare about her introversion, and said her parents were surprised when she revealed that she wanted to become an actress.
"That's part of why I wanted to do it — for whatever reason, I was shy in my own skin, and when I was playing other people, I felt more confident," she explained.
And while Mara is decked out in floral dresses for her Flare shoot, she told the magazine that her personal style is combination of masculine and feminine, and that when she's not on the job, she prefers to keep things casual (we're with her on that one!).
Mara plays Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman) in "Fantastic Four," her first time starring in an action flick. The movie hits theatres on August 7.
