Lilly Singh Schools Us On What Our Friends Really Mean

What 'My Phone Died' Really Means. Every. Single. Time.

We may be in the golden age of communication, but there are still plenty of ways in which we rely on other people to read between the lines — and figure out what the heck we're really saying.

In her most recent video release, "What Your Friends Really Mean," Lilly "Superwoman" Singh takes on the unspoken code that exists between friends, and has us a little worried she can read our minds. Seriously, everybody else does this too?

Covering everything from friends borrowing money to what it really means when someone tells you "their phone died" to the one thing every single person has said without meaning it — "Omigod, we should totally do that one day!" — Singh nails the passive aggressiveness (and outright lies) of everyday responses perfectly.

We're sorry, everyone we know.
