Before Amy Schumer re-defined "Trainwreck" (the title of her upcoming already-acclaimed-movie), the rest of us took the term into our own hands by channelling our favourite pieces of pop culture -- and applying them to our club and/or bar ensembles.
Today, the bar scene looks a lot different than it did during the 2000s. But thanks to accessible pop culture (whether through the Internet or the availability of "The O.C." and "Gossip Girl" posters/tie-ins), a lot of us merged the worlds of entertainment and bar-hopping through everything from super low-rise jeans to Von Dutch hats (#neverforget). And because my favourite thing to do is remind you of all the things we used to do, I’m going to write about some of them here.
Welcome to our collective trainwreck past.
