The highway will be closed between Panet Street and the Lucien-L'Allier Street entrance.
The detour will run from Viger Avenue to Robert-Bourassa Boulevard and along Saint-Antoine Street, where there is another entrance for the 720 West.
The construction work is part of $4.9 billion in road repairs across the province scheduled between 2015 and 2017.
