Police say a man was found dead in the park on Expo Boulevard just before 10 p.m., and they believe he's the victim of a homicide.
Homicide investigators and the VPD Forensic Identification Unit appeared to be focusing their efforts on an area at the top of a hill, near the overpass crossing above Carrall Street.
Police taped-off a massive two-block section of the park, keeping onlookers quite far from the victim's location.
