Transgender Model, Andreja Pejic, Stuns In New Make Up For Ever Video

The video features the tagline, "Be bold. Be unexpected. Be you."

The 23-year-old Australian supermodel, who came out as a transgender woman last July, stuns as she stars alongside actress and blogger Jamie Chung. The two women model a variety of beauty looks to demonstrate makeup's transformative powers.

The collaboration was announced back in April, and made the Serbian-born beauty one of the first transgender models to land a major beauty campaign. She joins model Lea T, who was signed on as the face of Redken last year.

According to Make Up For Ever, the campaign "celebrates individuality and self-expression." The video features the tagline, "Be bold. Be unexpected. Be you." a message that Pejić told Women's Wear Daily (WWD) she was proud to stand behind.

"Being bold is about freedom," she told WWD last month. "It's hard for anyone to grow up and not be afraid of what others think. Makeup helps me express myself, and I've used it in varying ways throughout my life. I have strived to live life on my own terms, to never have to hide and to never have to feel shame about who I am. I can be proud of that and I'm equally proud to share that message through this Make Up For Ever campaign."

Pejić had another history-making moment this year, when she became the first transgender individual to have a feature in Vogue in May.

Following her gender reassignment surgery last year, Pejić made her runway debut as woman at designer Giles Deacon's fall 2015 show at London Fashion Week in February. She also raised more than $60,000 on Kickstarter to have a documentary made about her life and transition.

We can't wait to see what's in store for Pejić next!
