Lululemon Craft Beer Is Actually Happening, Because Vancouver

Oh, the West Coast.

Lululemon has announced the imminent release of its very own craft beer, in what might be the most West Coast business decision ever made.

The Vancouver-based yoga giant announced its "Curiosity Lager" Friday, created in honour of the company's annual SeaWheeze Half Marathon.

Stanley Park Brewing is producing the beer, which features chinook and lemon drop hops, according to a news release.

"We both share a deep hometown pride in our forest-in-the-city, Stanley Park and a unbridled enthusiasm for cold beer after a sweaty run on the Seawall," it said.

It expects to make 88,000 cans which will hit launch in mid-July and be available until the fall. Beer-drinkers can obtain the brew in public liquor stores across Canada, and privately in Alberta and B.C.

Partial proceeds will benefit the Stanley Park Ecology Society, according to a press release.

So sweat on, folks. Then chug a beer. You've earned it.
