Raynald Létourneau wanted by Montreal police in ex-girlfriend's slaying

Montreal police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a man wanted in connection with the slaying of his ex-girlfriend.

Raynald Létourneau, 46, hasn't been seen since he reported to a friend that he found Charlie Cecilia Garcia Larez dead in his apartment.

On May 30, officials discovered the body of Larez, 36, in bed in an apartment on Goyer Street near Darlington Avenue. Police initially deemed the death suspicious, but have since ruled it a homicide.

Larez moved to Canada less than a year ago to earn money to send back home to her family in Venezuela.

On July 16, an arrest warrant was issued for Létourneau on the charge of first-degree murder.

He is described as six-feet-tall, around 210 lbs with brown eyes. He had a shaved head the last time he was seen. He also had tattoos of Chinese characters on his right forearm.

Police say he may be driving a grey, 2001 Toyota Echo with the Quebec plate H06 HQW.

An anonymous donor is offering a $5,000 reward through Sun Youth to anyone with information that can help police locate  Létourneau.

Anyone with information is asked to call Info-Crime at 514-393-1133.
